Throughout my time working with the Lockly products, I consistently balanced user needs with product requirements, delivering designs that enhanced experience satisfaction and drove business growth. I led the ux design and research for a diverse portfolio of Lockly's IoT products, including mobile applications (Android and iOS), PC control and operation system, and web-based sales and management platforms. My work spanned both B2B (e.g., locklypro.com, lap.lockly.com) and customer-facing (lockly.com) segments.


Key Responsibilities and Achievements:​

  • Design Leadership & Decision Making:

    • Led new product designs, including Lockly Home app, Lockly Access app, and Lockly Channel Partner portal, aligning with technical requirements and business objectives for a seamless market launch.

    • Directed end-to-end design processes: data analysis → wireframing → prototyping → post-launch metric tracking, iterating via user insights and event data.

    • Redefined a scalable design system to maintain UI consistency and component-based efficiency across mobile and desktop platforms.

    • Mentored in-house UI designers to ensure smooth handoffs and visual consistency across all platforms.

Project Overview: Led the UX and UI design for a contracted project to create a microsite aimed at efficiently capturing, tracking, and converting potential leads for Sannam S4's Transnational Education (TNE) initiatives. The microsite functioned as both a shop-window for showcasing TNE offerings and an interactive tool for data collection and matchmaking.

  • Developed a web-based database system for a data-capturing microsite, streamlining partnerships between global higher education institutions.

The projects mainly focused on how senior users interpret automation issues from the use of activity trackers.

  • Collaborated on studies focusing on users’ interactions with activity trackers, automation interpretation, usability, and self-efficacy.

  • Conducted mixed-methods studies on technology acceptance among older adults, combining surveys, interviews, and qualitative data analysis.
